  • This is the exact reproduction of a rare version of 501 model which only existed from 1966 to 1971. The reason why this iteration of 501 gained so much attention is the combination of bar tacks instead of copper rivets at back pockets and Red Tab with a capital “E”, which would change to current lowercase “e” in 1971. Another notable feature is the generous fit with rounded top block and a slightly tapered leg compared to slimmer versions of the previous years. Recreated in the original 14 oz Cone Mills denim, the jeans have been rinsed in order to shrink the fabric and get out the initial rigidness without losing the uniform bright indigo hue, which makes it a perfect choice for those who want their jeans comfortable and subtle without too much fades.
